PowderTower

Innovative technology and design enable space savings and easy operation of the DTF printing system. The PowderTower carries the printer and is therefore the world's most flexible system that can be pushed through any normal door frame on its own.
The working comfort directly in front of the printing system leaves nothing to be desired. The roll-up device installed at eye level makes it easy to assemble the rolls.
Roll widths of up to 60cm can be processed with the PowderTower.

Pulverbox

The powder box is equipped with a drive for the shovel rails. The print medium is no longer pulled through the powder, but is instead gently sprinkled with the HotMelt.
This box can be removed with one hand without having to disconnect the plug or cable. By simply changing the powder box, refilling or replacing the powder box is child's play. If you would like to use another powder such as Blockout, you can simply order an optional powder box and do not need to clean the container separately.
The shovel rails, which are constantly pushed through the powder, guarantee a consistently fine hot melt without the formation of lumps or the like.

Filter

The integrated filter system is located above the PowderTower.
The tower only gels when the filtering is switched on. The exhaust air filter system works on the recirculation principle.
Fast and high film printing throughput creates glycol, which can drip back onto the film in many systems. The PowderTower's filter system prevents this with wide air passages in the intake and an internal collecting tray that collects the glycol.

Heating

Powerful halogen heating elements cause the DTF to gel. The standby level of these spotlights is around 20% and thus prevents clocking and high starting currents. Depending on the printer model and speed, the basic heating output can be adjusted on the back of the PowderTower.

Roll-up unit

The roll core is provided with two attachment discs. The empty roll is then placed in the device. As soon as the roll is inserted, the gears mesh and the rolls automatically pick up the film.
With this principle the role is quickly changed.

Single sheet printing option

In the PowderTower there is an optional pull-out device underneath the installed printer. This device catches single-sheet prints.
After printing, the motif can be powdered and gelled by hand.
This function is suitable for small jobs in between.

Touch panel control

The control is equipped with a detailed additional menu. Actuators and sensor tests can be simulated. Parameters for the processes can be easily set. Warning messages, instructions and help texts help the user reach their goal safely. The panel can be provided with additional languages at any time. Optionally, the surface can be customized according to customer requirements.

Film feeding aid

The first piece of film is pulled up into the tower using an automatic feed mechanism. With this device, everyone can use the medium to be printed comfortably and without any acrobatic feats.

-MODULAR

The PowderTower is modularaut. This design allows components to be replaced quickly and easily. In the event of a malfunction or failure, help can be provided quickly and easily.

The pulverizer can be replaced immediately by the operator.

The roll-up unit has a plug and 2 screw connections, and can therefore also be changed quickly.

The front panel is equipped with connectors and can be replaced as a whole.

The aim here was to ensure largely continuous, uninterrupted production.

-SECURITY

Sensors and actuators ensure a monitored and safe process. An integrated and non-optional filter system was one of the conditions to ensure maximum occupational health and safety. The extensive low-voltage supply and non-conductive cladding parts were also incorporated into the concept.

The emergency stop switch immediately disconnects the power supply to this plug-in system.

-COMFORT

Many of the DTF printers available on the market can be integrated. Dismantling the existing unwinding units on these printers and attaching an attachable unwinding device above the printer to the PowderTower make it universally usable. An additional optional rollable assembly holder enables the insertion of several roll cores and easy assembly of the motifs onto different rolls after the process has been completed.

The holder for the notebook can be mounted on the side of the PowderTower. Additional sockets on the PowderTower enable a proper power supply without dangling cables.

About inkTECH

inkTECH emerged from the development of the PowderTower. With stickfeld.de I made embroidery and DTG prints. A short time later, DTF printing became more and more present on the market, so I started looking into this topic. DTF printing has opened up unimaginable possibilities. First, an Epson p-6000 printer had to be used for the conversion to DTF. The space requirements of the existing powder machines, as well as the loud rumbling of the "knocker" put me off these devices and forced me to create my own system. I noticed that the focus was on printers everywhere and that even the big, well-known manufacturers had to use the bulky imported devices. This is not just a visual contradiction, because what use is the best printer if the pulverizer only meets half the requirements. Many experiences were reported to me and helped to present a perfect system here.
